Moving and Storage |

Moving: Call us first, not last! You needn’t go very far to find a nightmare piano moving story—from friends or neighbors who either tried to move it themselves or hired furniture movers to do the job. We get calls routinely from piano owners and moving companies alike asking us to fix piano damage or correct improper installation after their piano was inexpertly moved. (Where did those lyre sticks go?? Why doesn’t the pedal work?! That leg looks funny...) We have even been asked to resurrect a family heirloom after it (oops!) fell off the back of a truck. (Picture at right) Not only do we have years of experience moving pianos (and only pianos!) but we also always have a professional technician on the move—not just beefy guys with insurance who have no idea what’s going on inside the instrument. We treat your piano with care and expertise—because we know how much work and craftsmanship goes into a piano. Save yourself the hernia, the damage, and the extra expense: call the professionals. Your piano is not just a heavy coffee table!
Storage We also offer short-term and long-term climate-controlled storage for both verticals and grands. |

This piano was dropped off the back of a truck by household movers and landed upside down on this corner. The corner was crushed. The lid hinge was folded forward about 1” and the lid skirt was broken off. It is a tribute to the construction quality of these old pianos that there was no more damage! |
